Tell us about the theme and how you brought it to life

We decided as a group of vendors to carry through a bohemian theme consisting of white washed colours of blue, whites and greens compiled together, creating a soft and romantic atmosphere. Our florist additionally created a halo ring bouquet to install an angelic feel to our styled shoot.

Hair and makeup being somewhat darker, contrasted this angelic feel to ensure it stood out against the lighter shades.

Carolyn’s vintage lace dress created a free spirit nature which suited our windy beach styled shoot.

Romantic kisses, sandy toes and messy hair just made it so much more passionate. From the beachy blue tones that not only matched Nathan’s suspenders, as well as the moody clouds that sat above the intimate couple.

All our décor followed our bohemian theme from our teepee set up to our table layout, everything flowing in perfect synergy. The tropical pathways which lead onto the wooden decks, overlapped the sandy shores while waves crashed close by, made this venue the perfect setting for the perfect shoot.

All great things are done by a series of small things brought together and that is exactly what happened with this collaboration. Each creative excelled in their field of expertise and watching everyone recognise the uniqueness of each individual’s role and seeking to compliment each others performance. There is immense power when a group of people with similar interests get together and work towards the same goals.
